What Mommy Really Wants For Christmas

My husband has asked me quite a few times what I want for Christmas this year and for a good while, I drew a blank. All I could think was what Penelope needed and that we should just focus on that. I was SO CLOSE to even saying, let’s not get each other anything. HA! WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!

Every now and then, something would pop up in my head and I’d think to myself… ooooo that would be perfect! So here we are! In a blog post, I’m sharing it all.

So what do moms really want for Christmas? I’ll tell you! Let me start with the most important thing on my list:

  • A MOMMY STAYCATION. Just a night alone for mommy, outside of the house. A hotel close by will do! Perhaps one with a spa on site. I don’t need a mani or pedi, but a massage would be fantastic!! OH! And if the hotel has a great restaurant with room service, even BETTER! But that’s at the top of my list. Just a night to myself where I get to watch as many RomComs as I want without any interruptions and any worries.
  • SPA TREATMENT – Can’t splurge on a full staycation? Go with a Mani and Pedi service or just a massage. Mommy will DEFINITELY appreciate it!
  • A SLEEP-IN COUPON – Seriously, It’s not often that I get to sleep in, so having a stack of coupons that I could just hand to my husband and say HEY… Let me get an extra hour or two! I mean, that’s just glorious
  • A CRICUT – I told myself I wouldn’t ask but deep down, I really want one! I just want to label everything, all of the things. Our cup, our shirts, our bags! I want to be able to design and create for our parties and gatherings instead of hiring an outside source. I want to be the creator of all things Garza, haha!
  • A CLEANING SERVICE – Hire someone else to do all of the things. The house cleaning things!
  • A PERSONAL CHEF – Hire someone to come make dinner for a night. I mean, if I can eat a 5 course meal in the comfort of my own home, and have a clean kitchen after that… I’d take that in a heartbeat!
  • PAJAMAS – Okay, I went there. I gravitate towards wearing tshirt and sweatpants because I need more pajamas. Honey, If you’re reading this and couldn’t get the mommy staycation, I’d be cool with some soft jammies!
  • A GIFT FROM THE HEART – something sweet and sentimental. Something handmade by our little girl is really all I’d want. I spend so much time helping Penelope make something for others in her life that I’m the one that gets nada.

And a trip to Australia but I mean, let’s not get crazy!

What’s on your Mommy Wish List?

Un Besito,
